​Benny Zografov, founder of Bworkr, started as a tiler in 2001. From the first day of work, he
realized that the workwear he used needed proper improvements. This mainly concerned the
ability to move smoothly from a standing position to kneeling. Benny therefore began to look
at different solutions to be able to produce the optimal pair of work-pants.
At the beginning of the development process it was difficult to explain to everyone involved
where the elastic fabric would sit and how it would work, some claimed that they had not seen
any similar pair of work-pants before. There were others who had a take on the idea, but said
that "such pants cannot be made".

The work on the pants continued and in 2008-2009 the pants were presented to and tested by
selected craftsmen to give Benny feedback. The following year, the pants were highlighted in an article by
the magazine "Byggnadsarbetaren". This resulted in Benny sitting down at the
drawing board again for more improvements and two years later, he produced a pair of pants that
matched his vision of a comfortable, flexible, lightweight, modern and functional work-pants.
